The weather forecast for Cleveland National Forest was 48˚ and partly cloudy.
Twenty minutes in, it started snowing…
Even though we were much colder than expected (and I broke my wrist two weeks earlier), this was one of the most special shoots I’ve had. We were out in the mountains – surrounded by open fields, hidden ponds, tall trees, and the occasional hiker. Plus it was snowing. And to top it off, Melissa and Kyle were excited for it all. It gave them the chance to step away from the distractions of the everyday life and simply love each other. Work, traffic, money, wedding planning, or anything else that can bring us stress on a daily basis was all absent here. They only focused on one another and it was beautiful.
Adventures like this make me excited to continue pushing Brightwood into this direction. To a place where couples can get away from any distraction or problem in their life and simply focus on loving the person staring back at them.
