During our first bridal show back in February, we held a free engagement contest and announced the winner shortly before our trip to New Zealand. Finally after some rescheduling and going back and forth with dates and locations, I was able to meet our winners, Ferre and Luke for a few hours. I’ve never been to Pan Pacific Park before, but this hidden gem in west Los Angeles was the perfect spot for us. We spent the evening walking around the crowded grassy fields, looking for small spots near the trees or in an open field up on the hill where we had a bit more privacy from the birthday parties. Ferre and Luke were full of laughs and smiles, plus a little adapting and imitation when Luke’s dog, Scooter, was brought into the picture. He refused to look straight at the camera, so Ferre and Luke decided to look wherever he turned his head – worked perfectly. The night was finished off with a quick race up to the top of the parking structure near the Grove right as the sun fell below the horizon, leaving us with a perfect view of Downtown LA preparing for night.
